Casey to host fundraiser for Allyson Schwartz

U.S. Sen Bob Casey might be hedging his bets in the governor’s race. He’s hosting a fundraiser for U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz, who is thinking seriously about stepping into the 2014 race for governor, on March 22 in the Pittston area.
It’s at 11:30 a.m. at Pazzo, 2011 Route 315.
It’s $500 for “guests,” $1,000 for “friends,” and $2,600 for “sponsors.” The invitation says checks should be made payable to “Schwartz for Congress,” but that could be only because she does not have a committee for the governor’s race set up.
